After revisiting several different plein air locations it becomes obvious how the setting changes due to the weather or the tide. What is less obvious to the viewer is what I had for breakfast that morning, how well I slept, or if I was hydrated. The little nuances have the ability to affect the choices I made while painting en plein air and shape a painting differently than before. However, the consistency at the same location becomes a constant that anchors the groupings all together.
